Girlfriend Getaway Sample Itinerary
Season: Fall
Day 1 - Friday
Arrive in the afternoon - check in begins at 3 p.m.
Settle into your room and relax a bit.
Get acquainted with the area by renting some bicycles (on-site) and taking a ride around town.
Spend some time relaxing at Evensong Spa. Get spa access and take some time to walk to labyrinth where you can quiet the mind and find balance. Indulge in the waterfall whirlpool. Sip a glass of wine as you gather in front of the relaxation room fireplace and share some quality time together.
Enjoy a casual dinner at the Gooseblind, located in downtown Green Lake.
Return to the resort and challenge the girls to a game of pool or darts in the BoatHouse Pub (on-site). Enjoy a delicious after-dinner ice cream drink.
Before turning in for the night, put on your bathing suits and take a dip in the indoor pool during adult swim from 10 to 11 p.m.
Day 2 - Saturday
Head to the Sunroom (on-site) for Eggs Benedict and our French Toast with a side of yogurt. Also be sure to get an Ancora coffee or espresso. Take in the view as the sun shines down on the lake.
Before you take off for the day’s activities, be sure to gather everyone together for a group photo overlooking the lake.
After breakfast, it’s time to shop. Take a short drive to Princeton, just 10 minutes west of Green Lake. Check out the famous Princeton Flea Market (through October 16) and the shops of Water Street which offer a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
Afer a morning of shopping, treat yourself to a rejuvenating experience at Evensong Spa. Our signature Inner Journey Massage will refresh and relax you.
Take some time to freshen up before dinner. Try one of our two indoor whirlpools.
Walk over to Grey Rock restaurant (on-site) and indulge in the fine dining experience Grey Rock offers. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking view of the lake. Feast on Pecan Encrusted Sea Scallops or the Filet Mignon with Shrimp. Finish the meal with a piece of scrumptious dessert or a smooth ice cream drink.
Enjoy the live pianist in the Grey Rock lounge after your fabulous dinner.
Day 3 - Sunday
Grey Rock's champagne brunch, offering an array of delicious items, begins at 9 a.m., leaving you plenty of time to pack before check out at 11 a.m.
